ArcelorMittal Tubular Products Aktau is finishing constructing a unique shop.
The new ship to assemble pipes in dual sections is a joint venture of AMTPA and KazTurboRemont. The commissioning of the new shop will create some 150 jobs.
The shop will weld pipes into dual 24-meter sections. Its capacity will be 300 km of pipe products per year.
Commissioning is scheduled for December. (Ukrainian metal)
