In January-September Izhstal sold 320 thousand tons of metal, up by 13% YoY.
Steel output increased by 23%, to 235 thousand tons, rolled metal – by 2%, to 263 thousand tons.
Output increase is due to the growth of sales of continuous cast billets to Beloretsk Iron and Steel Works, the largest metal wares manufacturer in Russia.
Sales increase is due to the growth of sales to side companies. In particular, sales to machine-building enterprises increased by 43%, to oil-and-gas companies – by 46%, to mining and prospecting – by 42%. (Ukrainian metal)
