According to the ex-member of the National commission on energy regulation Andrei Gerus, DTEK enterprises haven’t paid some 100 million UAH to the state budget.

In 2016 DTEK companies did not pay the rent of 0.75% for coal mining from the price of its sale (1076 UAH per ton for Pavlogradugol and 1053 UAH for Komsomolets Donbassa).

But this price was much lower than that paid by the customers for electricity according to the Rotterdam+ – 1600 UAH per ton.

“Thus, for all our tariffs DTEK used the Rotterdam+ price (1600 UAH), but when paying rent to the state budget it used 1076.6 UAH”, he said. (Ukrainian metal)
