In September Sakhalin enterprises mined over 900 thousand tons of coal, or 5.6 million tons in January-September, up by 10% YoY.
Coal in the region is mined by 10 companies. Solntsevsky coal pit LLC and Gornyak LLC provide the most coal.
Last year the region mined 7.2 million tons of coal, up 1.3-fold YoY. (Ukrainian metal)
