In January-September Evraz Dneprovsky Iron and Steel Works produced 548 thousand tons of rolled metal, down by 21% YoY.
Steel output dropped by 19.7%, to 663 thousand tons, and that of pig iron – by 6%, to 767 thousand tons.
In September Evraz DMZ produced 71 thousand tons of rolled metal, 88 thousand tons of steel and 85 thousand tons of pig iron, all down from 79 thousand tons, 89 thousand tons and 92 thousand tons in August respectively.
In 2016 Evraz DMZ increased steel output by 5.2% YoY, to 1.057 million tons, pig iron – by 5.9%, to 1.068 million tons, and rolled metal – by 3.7%, to 889 million tons. (Ukrainian metal)
