In January-September Dneprovsky Iron and Steel Combine decreased rolled metal output 2.2-fold YoY, to 658 thousand tons.
According to a company representative, in 9 months DMK produced 680 thousand tons of steel and 662 thousand tons of pig iron, both down 2.1 and 2.2-fold YoY.
At the same time, in September the company produced 215 thousand tons of rolled metal, 219 thousand tons of pig iron and 225 thousand tons of steel, as opposed to 154 thousand tons, 179 thousand tons and 183 thousand tons in August respectively.
In April-June and the most part of July DMK was idle. (Ukrainian metal)
