In January-July Russia imported 17.1 thousand tons of stainless steel rods, up by 25.6% YoY, valued at $4.5 million, up by 39.4%.
According to the customs statistics, nickel contents mostly do not exceed 2.5%.
Ukraine accounts for around 60% of all the volume, up by 8.2%. In July the average price was $2414 per ton.
India increased supplies by 23.3% (money-wise by 42.6%), with average price at $2383 per ton. Germany – by 5.1% and 48.2% respectively. Average price was $5321 per ton. (Ukrainian metal)
