According to Evraz, metal wares market in 2017 will hit 1.9 million tons, up by 9% YoY. In 2018 it will grow by 7%, to 2.028 million tons.
In the cold-deformed rebars and VR-1 wire segments Evraz occupies some 25%. This year the group intends to produce 435 thousand tons and 102.3 thousand tons respectively.
Next year Evraz intends to strengthen its positions in these segments.
Evraz’s share in the segment of ordinary quality wire and nails is 14-17%. This year it will produce 234 thousand tons of wire and 91.2 thousand tons of nails. Next year output will be increased by 10 thousand tons. (Ukrainian metal)
