In January-August Kemerovo region mined 159.5 million tons of coal, up by 7.6% YoY.
In August output dropped by 1.5% YoY, to 20.3 million tons.
Coking coal accounts for 26.3% of 8-months output, or 41.9 million tons.
Coal sales totaled 136.5 million tons, including 92.9 million tons shipped for export. (Ukrainian metal)
