Karabashmed has started commissioning the raw copper pouring line. The new automated equipment will increase the shop capacity as well as minimize pollution.
“In 2004-2016 to develop and improve environment safety over 16 billion rubles were spent. 4 billion more will be invested in 2017-2018. The capacity of the works will increase to 150 thousand tons per year. Thanks to modernization we were able to decrease pollution 20-fold compared with 2000”, the company reported. (Ukrainian metal)
