On August 28 the militants of the terrorist organization DPR (Donetsk People’s Republic, created and supported by Russia) for the first time in 3 years made an industrial explosion of rock in the quarry of the “nationalized” Dokuchaevsk Flux-Dolomite Complex.
According to the so-called Ministry of industry and trade of the DPR, the enterprise has been idle for almost three years, since Russia invaded Donbass.
Now the militants hope that the explosion will allow them to start limestone processing. They also plan to start supplying raw materials to iron and steel works on the occupied part of Donbass.
DFDK was a part of UMG. Since March 15 UMG has not been controlling its operation. (Ukrainian metal)
