In January-June, according to the State Statistics Service, Ukraine imported 826.753 thousand tons of coal valued at $77.11 million.
In particular, Russia supplied 90.8% of the total volume (750.861 thousand tons valued at $70.8 million).
Imports from the South African Republic totaled 75.886 thousand tons valued at $6.299 million.
At the same time Ukraine exported 34.954 thousand tons of coal valued at $2.103 million to Europe, in particular 24 thousand tons valued at $1.494 million to Italy.
