Ormet has started preparing the territory of the Luchistoye deposits for the quarry construction.
In August the company will construct electricity lines, a substation and inner power grid.
Investments into power infrastructure will total 2 million rubles. Equipment for the substation will cost around 4.6 million rubles.
The first power objects will be commissioned in September. The first ore, mined at Luchistoye, will be sent for processing in autumn.
The reserves of the deposits are estimated at 112 thousand tons of ore. (Ukrainian metal)
