Uralelectromed has started assembling pipelines for electrolyte circulation under the second stage of the copper electrolysis shop construction.

The total length of the pipelines will be 10 km.

The pipelines will be used to prepare, distribute and circulate electrolyte from tanks to 448 electrolysis baths.

The construction of the second stage began in July 2014. When the stage is put into operation, cathode output will increase from 160 thousand tons to 320 thousand tons per year. The construction will be over in 2018. (Ukrainian metal)
