In January-April Russia imported 117.4 thousand tons of galvanized steel with polymer coating, up by 3.4% YoY.

The main supplier is China, with the share of 48%. The average price on the Russian border in April was $800.5 per ton. Imports from China increased by 54% YoY, and the price – by 23.4%.

Kazakhstan is the second major supplier (15.5%, $922.2 per ton, down by 5.7% and up by 23.2% YoY respectively), followed by South Korea (13.7%, $1222 per ton, up by 30.6% and by 13.6% YoY respectively). (Ukrainian metal)
