In 2016 Yekaterinburg Non-Ferrous Metals Processing Works received $346 million of revenue, down by 12% YoY.
According to the company statement, exports earned the most – $235 million.
Net profits of the company decreased to $8 million from $23 million in 2015.
“Earnings in the industry in 2016 decreased 2-fold, net profits – 4-fold. There are several key reasons: cancellation of precious metals export duties, as well as bankruptcy of companies on the secondary market and from the jewelry sphere, which increased competitiveness and decreases profitability”, the company CEO Denis Borovkov said.
