The Yuzhnodonbasskaya mine No. 1 was cut off from electricity because of the debts.
“On May 10, the mine being unable to clear its debts was cut off grid. This is another example of the authorities inability to provide for the normal operation of the coal industry”, the chairman of the Independent Miners Union Mikhail Volynets said.
The mine is situated in Ugledar, Donetsk region. This is not the first time this year that the mine had to stop operation because of the absence of electricity. (Ukrainian metal)
