Employees of ArcelorMittal Kriviy Rih went on strike. They demanded to speak with the CEO Paramjit Kahlon by Skype.

But, according to administration, Kahlon was away in London.

“Paramjit Kahlon suggested creating a working group by May 19 to settle the matter of the salary. Please, don’t politicize the situation”, the deputy CFO Igor Kublitsky addressed the employees, adding that the company wanted to implement the grade system of wages.

Despite the words of the administration the employees threatened to go on a hunger strike if Kahlon did not speak to them. (Ukrainian metal)
