Gaysky Mining and Processing Works, a part of UMMC, is assembling a ball mill with the volume of 18 cubic meters at its processing factory. It is expected to be put into operation in mid-Q2.
“When the new mill is put into operation, we will be able to use a more powerful mill with the volume of 36 cubic meters in the main cycle of ore processing. Thus we will get finer grinding of ore”, processing factory director Dmitry Semenov said.
Reconstruction and modernization of the processing factory aim at further increasing ore processing capacities and improving concentrate quality.
In 2017 the works plans to process 9 million tons of ore.
The total investments into the processing factory modernization in 2017 will exceed 300 million rubles. (Ukrainian metal)
