The anthracite coal stocks at the warehouses of thermal power plants decreased by 12.1%, to 513 thousand tons, as of March 27. According to the Ministry of energy and coal industry, the gas-coal stocks increased by 8.9%, to 1.292 million tons. 260 thousand tons of anthracite are stored at the Lugansk TPP. (Ukrainian metal)
Ukrdoninvest LLC, which in September 2016 signed a contract with the state enterprise Centrenergo to supply 240 million UAH worth of coal, has acquired 21.69% of shares of the Ukraina Central Processing Factory from Altera Asset Management. ArcelorMittal Kriviy Rih will recultivate the lands of the old quarry of the non-operating mine named after Valyavko-Severnay. In 2017-2018 the company will create a green public zone in Kriviy Rih.
