In January-June Pobuzhye Ferronickel Plant intends to carry out repairs of its main machinery valued at 46.9 million UAH.
According to the company CEO Oleg Bespalov, in 2016 the plant carried out repairs valued at 50.33 million UAH.
This year the company will also spend 31.3 million UAH on environment protection.
The works intends to start producing breakstone of ferronickel slag, which could be used in construction. The works will be capable of producing 25 thousand tons of breakstone per month. The line will be put into operation at the end of H1.
Within the modernization program PFK has also ordered the Zaporozhye Transformer Works the delivery of 2 transformers valued at 15 million UAH. The first transformer will be supplied in November. (Ukrainian metal)
