The chairman of the self-proclaimed Donetsk People’s Republic Alexander Zakharchenko has set up a program on partial clearing of the salary debts to miners of the state enterprises Artemugol (Gorlovka) and Ordzhonikidzeugol (Yenakievo).
According to Zakharchenko’s order, the so-called ministry of finances will provide 182 million rubles for the cause.
Coalmining in Gorlovka stopped in 2014-2015, since then mines have only been pumping water. Over the period the employees involved received only 4 full salaries, the last one – in July 2016. (Ukrainian metal)
