The Russian court has arrested the ex-general manager of Severstal Vadim Larin in his absence on the accusation of bribing during the state checks of the company mines in Vorkuta.

At present the Investigation committee of the Komi Republic has no information of his whereabouts. In early February it was believed he was in UK.

Larin and Vadim Shablakov (the ex-CEO of Vorkutaugol, a daughter company of Severstal) resigned in November 2016. In December 2016 they were both accused of bribing. (Ukrainian metal)
