According to Russian Copper Company environment, labor safety and industrial safety department director Natalia Gonchar, in 2017 the company intends to invest 1.6 billion rubles into environment protection (1.3 billion invested in 2016).
The money will be spent on the protection of air, water, soil, and waste treatment.
Moreover, Karabashmed, a part of RMK, environment investments will exceed 2.3 billion rubles.
MMK input will total 35.6 billion rubles by 2025. MMK pollution in the last 15 years decreased by more than 100 thousand tons. (Ukrainian metal)
