The Avdiivka Coke and Chemical Works is still not operating because of the military activity.

According to the company CEO Musa Magomedov, the repairmen were able to restore the electricity lines and bring energy to the town of Avdiivka.

“The volumes of coke gas are not enough to heat both the batteries and the town, so the frosts will cause serious problems”, he said.

On January 29, the Russia-supported militants started advancing to Avdiivka, and following the intensive shelling on January 30, the town was cut off from electricity, water and heating supply. (Ukrainian metal)
