The operation of Avdiivka Coke and Chemical Works has been halted for the first time since the military conflict in Donbass started.
“For the first time the works went on halt. There are problems with gas, and there is no electricity in Avdiivka”, the Avdiivka military-civilian administration deputy chairman Fridon Vekua said.
According to him, as of January 31, the town was still under fire. He believes the militants could be using Grads to shell the town.
