In 2018 the managing company Siberian Mining and Metallurgical Company plans to start processing Evraz West-Siberian Iron and Steel Works furnace wastes into pig iron.
According to the company, the project is currently in development, and the investments are estimated at 200 million rubles.
“SGMK has large stocks of metallurgical raw materials arising from the breaking of the blast furnace pig iron. Each year we can process around 6 thousand tons of waste”, the company reported. (Ukrainian metal)
