The Ministry of energy and coal industry plans to find a way to increase coal output by changing taxes.
Ukraine: DTEK Dobropolyeugol decreases mining plans
2016 mining plans for DTEK Dobropolyeugol mines (except for Belozerskaya mine) have been decreased to 3.1 million tons due to the excess of gas coal in Ukraine as the result of the drop in electricity output.

Ukraine: DSS output down in January-February 2016
In January-February Dneprospetsstal produced 31.29 thousand tons of steel, down by 5.1% YoY. Rolled metal output decreased by 7.4%, to 21.24 thousand tons.
Ukraine: rebar prices up on the local secondary market
Since the beginning of March rebars on the local secondary market went up in price by 10-15%, to 10.2-11.5 thousand UAH per ton.
