In November Russia produced 5.1 million tons of rolled metal, up by 1.3% MoM.
Bars output dropped by 2% MoM, to 1.5 million tons, with rebars production on the level of 600 thousand tons. Sheet manufacture dropped by 0.8% MoM, to 2.2 million tons, with hot-rolled sheet output at 1.6 million tons, down by 1% MoM, and cold-rolled sheet at 0.7 million tons, down by 0.2%.
Billet for export was the main rolled metal output increase driver. Russia produced 1.3 million tons of billets in November, up by 9.1% MoM. Steel pipes output totaled 839 thousand tons, down by 2.1%, and that of wire – 117 thousand tons, down by 2.3% MoM. (Ukrainian metal)
