The Ukrainian Association of secondary metals and resources (UAVtormetresurs) has addressed the prime minister of Ukraine asking him to cancel the decree on the increase of the scrap export duty from 10 euro per ton to 30 euro.
The letter has also been sent to all the decree authors.
According to the association, the cancellation of the decree will provide for the real deregulation of the scrap sphere.
On the other hand, metal makers are happy with the decree, as their scrap stocks have increased. (Ukrainian metal)
