Evraz ZSMK continues its program of capacity improvement. In 2016 it spent around 3 billion rubles on capital repairs and development.
Its main project this year was the reconstruction of the continuous casting machine. The company also carried out overhauls at its two blast furnaces.
In 2017-2018 Evraz ZSMK plans to invest 5 billion rubles in development projects. (Ukrainian metal)
