Aktyubinsk Rail and Beam Works has certified its products according to the Russian state standard GOST R 51685-2013. The certificate expands ARBZ possibilities of supplying rails to the countries, where this standard is used, primarily to Russia.
“Most ex-Soviet countries prefer rails certified to GOST R 51685-2013. We have already signed a contract to supply 15 thousand tons of rails to Uzbekistan”, the first deputy CEO of the company Marat Ibragimov said.
As of November 9, the works that was put into operation in June, has already supplied 330.8 tons of rails to the Uzbekistan Railroads, and 280 tons of rails to Russia.
In 2016 ARBZ plans to produce 80 thousand tons of rails. The works capacity is 430 thousand tons of rolled metal per year. (Ukrainian metal)
