In 2016-2017 Vostochny Mining and Processing Works intends to keep the last year levels of uranium concentrate output – 1 thousand tons.

“We don’t have decreases in output, nor, unfortunately, increases. We’re keeping it flat and the expected volumes this year are around 1 thousand tons”, the company CEO Alexander Sorokin said.

An increase in output is possible provided there are investments into Novokonstantinovskaya mine. But even so the increase will not be observed until 2018-2019. (Ukrainian metal)
