In January-September Mechel-Service sold 1.4 million tons of metal, up by 7% YoY.
In Q3 the company was able to sell some 500 thousand tons of metal.
Shaped sections sales went up by 25%, pipes – by 27%, metal wares – by 20%, sheet – by 13% and strips – by 55%.
“We continue keeping the high level of sales and have increased market share, despite the ongoing decrease in metal consumption. And we still intend to increase our sales”, Leonid Polyansky, the company CEO, said. (Ukrainian metal)
