In Q2 and H1 Rusal slightly increased its aluminum output by 0.3% QoQ, to 919 thousand tons, and by 1.5% YoY, to 1.83 million tons.
The company worked at 95% capacity. Siberian works of Rusal produced 94% of the total aluminum output.
In H1 Rusal sold 1.91 million tons of products, up by 5% YoY. The average price dropped by 23.7% YoY, to $1688 per ton, mostly due to LME high prices.
Rusal also produced 3724 thousand tons of alumina, up by 2.7% YoY. Bauxites output totaled 6135 thousand tons, up by 2.7% YoY, while that of nepheline ores increased by 10.1% YoY, to 2319 thousand tons. (Ukrainian metal)
