In January-May Ukrainian coke plants imported 5.24 million tons of coking coals and coal concentrate, up by 34% YoY, or by 1.3 million tons.
In May Ukraine imported 960 thousand tons of coal, down by 70 thousand tons MoM. Ukrainian coal deliveries to coke plants in January-May totaled 2.54 million tons, up by 18% YoY, or by 400 thousand tons, with 540 thousand tons in May, down by 40 thousand tons MoM.
Coal stocks in May decreased by 70 thousand tons, to 460 thousand tons.
All in all in January-May Ukrainian coke plants received 7.8 million tons of coking coal, up by 28% YoY, or by 1.7 million tons, with 1.5 million tons in May, up by 30 thousand tons MoM. (Ukrainian metal)
