Russian Vnesheconombank is actively looking for buyers of the Industrial Union of Donbass Corporation (ISD).
ISD comprises of Dneprovsky Iron and Steel Works named after Dzerzhinsky, Alchevsk Iron and Steel Works and Alchevsk By-Product Coke Works, as well as ISD Dunaferr (Hungary) and ISD Huta Chestochowa (Poland).
In 2015 Ukrainian ISD works received 24.8 billion UAH of losses.
So far the negotiations didn’t have any results. Ukrainian businessmen don’t have enough money, while Russian ones consider these assets unattractive. (Ukrainian metal)
