In January-February metal sales on the local market went up by 27% YoY, to 0.54 million tons. Together with pipes the volume is 0.59 million tons.
According to the Ukrainian Mining and Metallurgical Company, imports increased by 70.2% YoY, to 0.1 million tons.
The largest increase was in beams (by 92.7%), angles (23.5%), wire rod (27%), channel (46.7%), cold-rolled steel (14.7%), galvanized steel (36%), hot-rolled steel (13.6%) and rebars (50.2%). (Ukrainian metal)
