Zaporizhstal has finished capital repairs of the blast furnace #5.
According to the company statement, the repairs lasted for 45 days and cost some 107 million UAH. Over 500 people were engaged in repairs each day – both works employees and contractors. The total weight of metal constructions assembled at the blast furnace reached 1 thousand tons. The daily capacity of the blast furnace is around 2850 tons. (Ukrainian metal)
