Pobuzhye Ferronickel Plant has finished switching its drying plant to pulverized coal.
According to the company CEO Oleg Bespalov, PFK used to consume 8-10 million cubic meters of gas per year. Now this volume has decreased by 5 million cubic meters. The plant invested 32.3 million UAH in 2014-2015 into the project.
All the mills will be switched to PC system by 2021, with the program cost at $15-16 million. This year the company plans to invest 152 million UAH into the machinery modernization. (Ukrainian metal)
