In 2016 Poltava Mining and Processing Works plans to increase pellets output by 0.75% YoY, or by 0.08 million tons, to 11.75 million tons, with 10.66 million tons being Fe 65% pellets.
According to the company statement, 2015 saw the highest pellets output – 11.66 million tons, 10.36 million tons being Fe 65% pellets.
Last year the company shipped 11.11 million tons of pellets, with 99.97% exported to the Eastern and Central Europe (Austria, Czech Republic, Slovakia and Germany), as well as Turkey, China and Japan. 0.03% was consumed on the local market. (Ukrainian metal)
