Metinvest enlarges its range of boron-containing rolled steel by starting producing 2.5 mm thick sheet.

In particular Mariupol Ilyich Iron and Steel Works produces 30MnB5 coils, and Zaporizhstal cuts them into sheets. Mariupol works used to produce 6 mm sheets.

The new rolled metal is used in agricultural machine-building. Boron-containing steel parts have increased strength.

The first batch of 3 and 5 mm sheets was supplied to Stil Agro in mid March. (Ukrainian metal)
