In January-March Ukraine exported 11.54 thousand tons of ferrous scrap valued at $2.46 thousand, down by 95.7% and 96.4% YoY respectively.
According to the customs statistics, imports went up 5.6 times YoY, to 4.37 thousand tons valued at $1.53 thousand tons, up by 20.2% YoY.
The main suppliers of scrap were Turkey (61.51%) and Slovakia (37.83%), with Turkey being the largest importer (99.96%) as well. (Ukrainian metal)
