In January-March Ukraine imported $353.5 million worth of coal, down by 12.7% YoY.
According to the State Fiscal Service, the main suppliers of coal were Russia, USA and Australia.
Imports from Russia went up from $153.8 million in Q1 2015 to $207.3 million, from USA – fell from $106.4 million to $51.4 million. Imports from Australia totaled $31.2 million.
In 2015 Ukraine imported $1.63 billion worth of coal with main suppliers being Russia, USA and Kazakhstan. (Ukrainian metal)
