Ukrzaliznytsia (Ukrainian Railroads) is in desperate need of fuel. At present it cannot provide the delivery of all coke produced by Avdiivka Coke and Chemical Works.
“As of March 14, there were 19 thousand tons of coke waiting to be shipped. We produce some 7 thousand tons of coke daily, and only 2 thousand are shipped. In a couple of days the cars will be full”, said Avdiivka Works CEO Musa Magomedov.
He ordered to decrease daily output to 6 thousand tons.
“We can’t go below this”, he added, stressing that the metal companies need of coke is high. (Ukrainian metal)
