In January-February Ukraine exported 9.99 thousand tons of ferrous metals scrap, down by 92.7% YoY.

According to the State Fiscal Service, exports also decreased by 94.4% YoY, to $2.14 thousand.

At the same time scrap imports went up 7.6 times, to 4,13 thousand tons, worth $1.18 thousand, up by 43.8% YoY.

Turkey was the sole exporter of scrap to Ukraine, with it also being the main importer (50.34%), followed by Slovakia (48.82%) and Moldova (0.84%). (Ukrainian metal)
