In January and February Dneprosvky Iron and Steel Works named after Dzerzhinsky received losses (145 million and around 105 million UAH respectively), but it plans to reach profitable conditions in March.
“We were not able to provide our blast furnaces with enough coke and raw materials last year, so only one of our three blast furnaces was operating. On January 1, we put the second furnace into operation, and on February 8 – the third. Now we expect to get some profits in March – at least 5 million UAH”, said the company acting CEO Vyacheslav Mospan. (Ukrainian Metal)
