A part of the workers of the Motronovsky Mining and Processing Works, that is being constructed, have been sent to paid vacations.

“Some employees have been sent to paid vacations, since the construction rates of the GOK decreased, because the project is being carried out at our own expense. The world crisis, industry decline in Ukraine and the still undecided military conflict in the East don’t allow us to get cheap loans and speed up construction”, said the company director Alexander Laznikov.

9 subcontractors (250-300 workers) are involved in construction at the moment.

When constructed the works will produce 120 thousand tons of ilmenite concentrate, 14 thousand tons of zircon concentrate and 20 thousand tons of rutile concentrate per year. (Ukrainian Metal)
