In 2015 with the help of continuous development program Zaporizhstal was able to decrease its expenses by 950 million UAH.
This was mainly due to the energy savings.
Last year Zaporizhstal employees submitted and implemented 2213 improvement suggestions.
“Such initiatives help the works to survive under the harsh conditions of today. And we see no other way with the metal price fall and prime cost increase”, says the company CEO Rostislav Shurma. (Ukrainian metal)
