The development project of one of the most prospective titanium areas – in the region of Motrono-Annovsky is falling apart. The work has been postponed for a year.
“In late January we had a meeting where we were told that the works would stay idle until 2017. But we have families and children. If the project is cancelled, we will have nowhere to go”, say the employees.
According to them, the administration demanded the written refusal from evening and night payment.
If the project is closed, thousands of locals would be left jobless, and the town of Volnogorsk will lose all hope to process titanium. (Ukrainian metal)
